Set in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, Goathland, a delightful moorland village provides peace, tranquility and a perfect walking or touring base. Goathland also has a station on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway which connects with Rail Track's National Network at Grosmont.


The Goathland Hotel is run by Jean and Keith Richardson who produce both good food and drink in a friendly atmosphere to which guests constantly return.

Our Restaurant provides a selection of good English food together with a range of wines and traditional beers.

Breakfast 8.30-9.00am
Residents Dinner 7.00-7.30pm
Bar Meals 12.00-2.00pm and 7.00-8.30pm

The Rooms

Our accommodation comprises of 8 rooms all having superb moorland views. The bedrooms are all en-suite, with tea & coffee making facilities. We also have a television lounge on the first floor.
