Ken and Sue Dyson extend a warm welcome to the hotel, which is on the West Cliff about 300 metres from Whitby's famous Whalebone Arch and Captain Cook Memorial.

We face the sea and are ideally placed for the West Cliff amusements, Cliff lift, Pavilion and Spa complex as well as being within easy walking distance of the Town Centre.

The famous abbey on the East Cliff is about 15 - 20 minutes walk away.

By road from the North (A171) follow any signs indicating West Cliff car parks.

By road from the South (A171) from Scarborough (or via A169 from Pickering and Sleights, and A171) then follow West Cliff signs

 

Whitby can also be reached by train to Scarborough thence by bus or from Middlesbrough by train on the Esk Valley Railway.

The hotel is about 4 or 5 minutes by taxi from the bus and rail stations.
